12th Annual Ascension Awards Program Dinner: Honoring Excellence and Achievement in Business and Community

West Palm Beach, FL – December 1, 2023 – The Palm Beach County Black Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the 12th Annual Ascension Awards Program Dinner, scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST at the prestigious Palm Beach Convention Center located at 650 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

This annual gala is poised to gather over 400 distinguished guests, comprising leaders from diverse business sectors, prominent corporations, and esteemed government officials eager to connect and engage with the thriving African American business community in Palm Beach County.

The evening’s program promises an array of captivating experiences, including a sophisticated cocktail reception, a sumptuous dinner, and electrifying musical performances by the Lake Worth High School Drumline and Jazz Ensemble, and the renowned saxophonist Al Johnson. The highlight of the event will be the announcement of the 2024 Ascension Award recipients, recognizing individuals and entities that have ascended to greatness in their respective fields.

F. Malcolm Cunningham, Jr., a distinguished attorney, will grace the event as the keynote speaker, offering valuable insights and inspiration. The program will be expertly guided by the esteemed news anchor, Hollani Davis from WPTV, ensuring a seamless and engaging evening for all attendees.

“We are thrilled to host the 12th Annual Ascension Awards Program Dinner, celebrating excellence and success within our community. This event is not just a celebration but a testament to the remarkable achievements and contributions of our honorees,” stated Keely Gideon-Taylor, Ascension Awards event lead.

Moreover, the event will feature a live canvas painting by the talented visual artist/engineer, Wanita Dixon, PhD. The gala will be graced by distinguished sponsors, including Hubbard Radio, The Palm Beach Post, the City of West Palm Beach, and Comcast, highlighting their commitment to supporting and empowering the African American business community.

Tickets for the event are currently available at discounted prices until December 15th, with individual general admission tickets priced at $175.
