Resource Development Committee
Description
The Resource Development Committee is a volunteer fundraising committee. The committee works alongside the Board of Directors and Officer Manager to raise funds through corporate partnerships, community sponsorships and special events.

Finance Committee
Description
The Finance Committee provides financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organizations budget. Their sole responsibility is to ensure the organization is operating with the financial resources it needs to provide programs and services to the community.

Membership Committee
Description
The Membership Committee works to increase the number and quality of membership in the Black Chamber.

Marketing & Communications Committee
Description
The Marketing & Communications Committee supports the overall comprehensive marketing and communications strategy of the Chamber. The committee oversees a consistent and active communication strategy to all stakeholders for the purposes of program messaging, fundraising, awareness and branding.

Advocacy & Social Justice Committee
Description
The Advocacy and Social Action Committee focuses on a wide range of issues that are important to our members including, but not limited to: (1) advocating for or against local, state and federal legislation and policies impacting Black-owned businesses and their employees, (2) holding elected officials, other high ranking officials and their organizations accountable for ensuring economic equity within their realm of influence, and (3) supporting and recognizing the work of individuals and organizations as it relates to issues impacting Black-owned businesses.

Nominating Committee
Description
The Nominating committee is responsible for recruiting and presenting to the board of directors the best-qualified candidates for the board of directors and officers of the organization.

Young Professionals Committee
Description
The Young Professionals of the Black Chamber of Commerce is an elite professional organization with focus on personal development, career aptitude, and brokering meaningful relationships. It is our mission to offer engaging and exclusive events, mentoring, and access to networking opportunities for leaders ages 25 – 39.
