Keely Gideon-Taylor manages the Community Relations and Special Events Department at The Palm Beach Post. In this role, Keely is responsible for negotiating all corporate, community and business partnerships and chamber relations. She negotiates sponsorships and revenue trade agreements for She oversees special events and activities on behalf of the Post. She serves as a liaison for the Post and local business, community and civic organizations. She manages event logistics for all on-site and off-site meetings, events and community activities for the Post. Keely also facilitates the Post’s high school scholarship programs and co-coordinates the Pathfinder Scholarship Awards Program.
Prior to joining The Palm Beach Post, Keely worked for March of Dimes’ Greater Missouri Chapter, as Special Events Manager. She has a professional and volunteer background in community service, event planning and fundraising.
Keely has a passion for working with community based organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for PACE Center for Girls, Palm Beach, Pathfinder Scholarship Fund of Palm Beach and Martin County and Urban League of Palm Beach County.
She is the recipient of the 2015 Woman of Excellence (Humanitarian) awarded by Delta Sigma Theta, West Palm Beach Chapter; 2010 Blue Dove Award, Hospice of Palm Beach County; 2010 Volunteer of the Year, South Florida Fair and Women in Leadership nomination for 2011, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches. She is most proud of being honored as one of the 25 Most Influential and Distinguished Women of South Florida by Success Magazine in 2010. Keely is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County, Class of 2014.
Keely, along with The Palm Beach Post, joined the Black Chamber in 2009. She serves as Chair of Resource Development and was instrumental in establishing the Ascension Awards Program, the chamber’s largest fundraising event.Keely Gideon-Taylor
