Keely Gideon-Taylor manages the Community Relations & Special Events Department at The Palm Beach Post, a Gannett property. In that role, she is responsible for negotiating and managing all community and business partnerships for The Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News. She oversees community sponsorship requests from for-profit and nonprofit clients. She manages all aspects of event planning and execution for Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News-hosted events, as well as community-sponsored events. Keely represents the company on several committees and boards and serves as the liaison for several business partners. She oversees the administration of the Palm Beach Post’s high school scholarship programs.
Keely is extremely active in the local community, offering her time and talent to help local residents achieve social, economic, and educational equality, while bringing awareness to the cause. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, Leadership Palm Beach County, Pace Center for Girls Palm Beach, Pathfinders Scholarship Fund of Palm Beach and Martin County and Urban League of Palm Beach County. She also serves on the Advisory Council for St. Mary’s Medical Center, the School District of Palm Beach County’s District Diversity & Equity Committee, and the Communications Team for Achieve Palm Beach County.
Keely lives in Boynton Beach with her husband.
