We are proud to spotlight chamber member Keisha Gaines of Keisha Cakes.
What are your business’ core values, goals, and overall mission?
My business core values is to help by bringing joy to our customer’s lives by providing custom tasty works of edible art for their special occasions. We hope and aim to inspire the next generation of young black bakers by being an example of what they can achieve through a career in the culinary arts.
Share some unique facts about your business. What makes your business stand out?

Keisha Cakes is a luxury custom cake and cupcake company providing dope, delicious, unique cakes for any and every occasion. Our creations are definitely the wow factor at every celebration we have been apart of. Not only do our cakes look great but they taste amazing too. I’m an artist at the core and what excites me everyday is the opportunity to utilize my artistic skills to create beautifully crafted cake art, that helps people celebrate the important moments in their lives. I exceed expectations by going above and beyond for every order with the extra effort we put into including personal details. I love what I do and it shows.

What products or services do you offer companies or individuals?

Our products include custom cakes, cupcakes, cake jars and banana pudding. As a service we offer cake decorating classes for children and adults.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

Some of the accomplishments I’m proud of are to have been a baking contestant on Netflix’s Sugar Rush season 1, appeared on WPTV news, featured in a few articles, created cakes for major brands and celebrities, graduated from Goldman Sachs prestigious OMBW Black in Business program, had a cake featured on VH1, volunteered with Icing Smiles donating cakes to sick children, became a finalist for a People’s Choice award from the American Cake Awards and nominated for the Distinguished Black Business of the Year award in 2024 from this chamber.

Why are you a member of the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County?

I’m a member of the chamber because I wanted to be apart of a network of black professionals active in our community. I wanted to expand my circle by meeting other likeminded entrepreneurs that could relate to the journey of being a black woman business owner in Palm Beach County.
