West Palm Beach, FL — May 15, 2025 — The Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County proudly announces the launch of the inaugural Our People’s Choice Awards, a community-driven initiative designed to recognize and celebrate excellence among businesses throughout Palm Beach County.

The Chamber invites the community to participate in this celebration of business excellence. This is your chance to shine a light on the businesses you love and rely on—from restaurants and salons to nonprofits and professional services. Please complete the nomination form and feel free to nominate as many businesses as you would like before the June 30, 2025, deadline. Businesses do not need to be members of the Chamber to be nominated.

Public nominations are now open to recognize in such categories as: Restaurants, Food & Beverages; Healthcare, personal services & Care; Business & Professional Services; Design & Construction; and more. Nominees must be currently operating and based in Palm Beach County.

A vetted shortlist of finalists will be announced on July 31, 2025, followed by a public voting period from August 1–25, 2025. Winners will be honored at a culminating reception in late August.

“This is more than just recognition—it’s an opportunity to uplift the businesses that shape our daily lives and local economy,” said Joseph Sanches, Immediate Past President of the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. “We invite the entire community to get involved and support the businesses that serve us all year long.”

Please note: Nominees do not need to be Chamber members to be nominated. However, only Chamber members will be eligible to advance as finalists and be placed on the official ballot.
