On February 25, the Amazon P12 Distribution Center in Jupiter hosted a vibrant Black History Month Celebration highlighting culture, leadership, and community engagement.

The event brought together employees and community leaders for an uplifting program filled with food, music, and celebration, creating a space where culture and connection were front and center.

A highlight of the celebration was a keynote address by Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County Board Member Mark Parks, who shared insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, and the importance of expanding opportunities for Black professionals and business owners.

Reflecting on the event, Parks noted the strong sense of culture and community throughout the program.

“They had great food, music, and everyone was dancing. What stood out most to me was that Jamora, who is part of the management team, makes sure that team members at every level are being educated and exposed to Black professionals like myself.”

His remarks highlighted the importance of representation, mentorship, and intentional leadership in creating pathways for professional growth.

Events like this demonstrate how companies can foster inclusive workplace cultures while strengthening connections with the broader community.
