Local Initiative Empowers the Community to Celebrate Business Excellence

West Palm Beach, FL — June 30, 2025 — The Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County is excited to announce that the nomination deadline for the inaugural Our People’s Choice Awards has been extended to July 15, 2025! This community-focused campaign gives local residents the power to spotlight businesses that make a positive impact across Palm Beach County.

From restaurants and salons to nonprofits, service providers, and creative professionals, Our People’s Choice Awards highlights the diversity and excellence of our local economy. The Chamber invites you to be part of this important movement by nominating businesses you admire and trust.

How It Works:

• Anyone can nominate as many businesses as they’d like.
• Business owners may also nominate their own business(es).
• Use a separate form for each business nominated.
• Nominees must be currently operating in Palm Beach County.
• Nominees do not need to be Chamber members, but only members in good standing will advance to the finalist round.

What Happens Next:

• A vetted shortlist of finalists will be announced on July 31, 2025.
• Public voting will take place August 1–25, 2025 during National Black Business Month.
• Winners will be honored at a special reception at the end of August.
